"They wrote the script 10 seconds at a time, and for that 10 seconds, there is a stunt to watch" to paraphrase the film's well quoted line, sums it up.
The endless sequence of motor talk and tumbling cars is like the "Dukes of Hazard" with ever less plot. The street racing is exciting, but there's little else. It's as if someone realized there had been no plot development, as the last reel was running out, so they quickly cobbled one together about an undercover cop trying to catch some hijackers.
And acting? All they do is look pretty. It's Gone in 60 Seconds without the brains! And I dearly wish it had.
